Who doesn't need an Owl?

An Owl is an essential companion for any hybrid meeting. Acting as a 360º webcam complete with a speaker and a microphone, it brings together participants in the room with virtual attendees.

Nearly everything needed to hold a successful hybrid Zoom or Teams meeting on the lower level of our building has been made available to our congregants to use. The Owl rides on a large cart, accompanied by a large monitor. Just bring your own computer and follow the instructions provided on the cart. Feel free to roll the cart into any other lower level classroom.

Our new Owl is the star among the new equipment Genesis has acquired to extend our learning and conversational capacity in the lower level, thanks to the generous support of the Sundelson Fund. TBE's Charlotte Sundelson and late husband Jack established the fund to purchase educational resources for the Genesis library.

We have also expanded our children's library. In the (freshly painted) family room adjoining the sanctuary, check out the shelf of books reflecting our shared values, as well as some comfortable places to read them.
