Twice a year, Genesis invites congregants of all ages and skills to tend to our gardens: waking them up in the spring and putting them to bed in the fall. It's a wonderful and refreshing opportunity to get some exercise in the brisk fall air, to meet new friends, and to catch up with old ones.
Come join in the fun on October 27, from 1 pm to 4 pm. We hope to see you there!
Please bring gardening tools and dress appropriately for the crisp fall weather. Bring your trowels, wheel barrels, rakes, shovels, and hoes. Wear your gloves & hats and dress in layers if the day calls for it. We will also have some tools on hand, so you're welcome to just come as you are. Come for as little or as long as your schedule allows. Light refreshments will be provided. There is no need to pre-register.
There's something for anyone to pitch in and get done, no matter your skill level or gardening experience, such as:
Tree care: rake, mulch around trees
Garden beds: weed, rake, mulch
Clean out & organize the garden shed
