Exterior Security Cameras Installed at Genesis

Several exterior security cameras have recently been installed on our property.

The cameras were paid for by a FEMA grant awarded to Genesis last year. The cameras record activity around our property, and all of the recordings are stored locally and deleted after 30 days. The recordings are not uploaded to the cloud and do not use AI technology for things like license plate or facial recognition. They are not accessible to law enforcement unless we choose to share them.
Access to the live camera feed and recordings are extremely limited by the internal policy the Genesis board has adopted. Only two members of each staff (St. Clare's, TBE, and Genesis) will have access to recordings, and, except in case of immediate emergency, the staff members with access will consult with one another before recordings are shared beyond that group of 6.
TBE security guards will be able to view the live camera feed but will not have their own access to recordings. Recordings will only be shared when they are relevant to a direct threat to our building or its occupants.
Our internal policy was developed in consultation with all three staffs and our permanent renters.
